Uninstalling FlyingPress

Updated this week

If you want to completely remove FlyingPress from your site, follow these steps:

1. (Optional) Purge everything

Before uninstalling, you can go to FlyingPress β†’ Settings β†’ Tools and click Purge Everything to clear all cached files and data.

2. Deactivate the plugin

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins.
Find FlyingPress and click Deactivate.

3. Delete the plugin

After deactivation, click Delete.
This removes all plugin files and deletes all FlyingPress data from the database, including configuration and license key.

4. Manually delete cache folder

FlyingPress does not delete the cache folder automatically.
To remove it, manually delete: wp-content/cache/flying-press/

Notes

  • Reinstalling FlyingPress will require re-entering your license key and setting up from scratch.

  • The cache folder is left intact to avoid issues on sites with large file structures during plugin deletion.
