Using in multisite: licensing and activation
FlyingPress works seamlessly in a WordPress Multisite environment, but there are some key points to keep in mind regarding licensing and activation.
FlyingPress can be used on different domains within a Multisite setup. Whether your sub-sites are structured as:
- example.com, example.com/subsite-1, example.com/subsite-2
- OR
- example.com, subsite-1.example.com, subsite-2.example.com
You can use the same license key for all sub-sites, regardless of whether they share the same top-level domain or not.
Do Not Network Activate FlyingPress : Always activate FlyingPress on each sub-site individually. Network activation may cause issues, as settings like minification will be applied to all sub-sites, which means that disabling a feature for one sub-site would affect all of them.
If using domain mapping, log in through the mapped domain's admin area (e.g., www.examplesite.com/wp-admin ) before activating FlyingPress. This ensures proper detection of the front-end URL and accurate configuration.
