Yes, FlyingPress works seamlessly in a WordPress Multisite environment, including both subdirectory and subdomain setups. However, there are a few important things to keep in mind regarding licensing, activation, and domain mapping.
Licensing for Multisite
You can use the same license key across all sub-sites in a Multisite network—even if they use different domains.
Supported structures:
example.com,example.com/subsite-1,example.com/subsite-2example.com,subsite-1.example.com,subsite-2.example.comsubsite1.com,subsite2.com(with domain mapping)
There’s no need to purchase separate licenses for each sub-site.
Activation guidelines
Do not network activate FlyingPress
Instead, activate it individually on each sub-site via the sub-site’s plugin page
This ensures settings like minification or delay JS are applied independently to each sub-site
Network activation may apply global settings and cause unintended effects across sub-sites
Domain mapping considerations
If you're using domain mapping:
Log in to the sub-site via its mapped domain (e.g.,
www.examplesite.com/wp-admin) before activating FlyingPressThis allows the plugin to correctly detect the front-end URL and apply optimizations properly
